Aware that they are coming, Maggie evacuates the residents, recognizing that the Hilltop is lost and saving the people is more important. Maggie, Lydia, Elijah and Marco remain behind and lay a trap for the assault team using the biofuel that the Commonwealth had supplied to them. Three soldiers are killed in the explosion which heavily damages the first floor of Barrington House.

Daryl, enraged by Denise's death by his own crossbow, hastily leaves Alexandria to exact revenge on the Saviors. Glenn, Michonne and Rosita follow him back to the area where Denise was killed, but all four of them are ambushed and captured by Dwight and 4 other Saviors. Morgan and Rick take a car in pursuit of Carol and find that she has killed 4 Saviors that attacked her on the road. Rick realizes that the Saviors were dangerously close to Alexandria and not only are they aware of its location, but they are greater in number than previously thought.
